HAZLETON, Pa. (AP) — Police have arrested two teens they believe stole a Pennsylvania man's iPhone, tossed him into his trunk, then beat him to death when he tried to escape from them.
Hazleton police arrested 19-year-old Breon Davonne Judon over the weekend and 17-year-old Mitchell Dedes on Monday in the death of 29-year-old Aaron Reznick.
Investigators say Judo and Dedes beat Reznick, stripped off his clothes then locked him in the back of his car on Aug. 3. Police say he was beaten again after trying to escape and left in the middle of a street in his underwear and socks. He died ten days later.
Dedes and Judon are each being held without bail. Court records don't list an attorney for Judon. A message left for Dedes' attorney wasn't immediately returned.
