Beginning Saturday, Amazon says it will start collecting the Commonwealth's six percent sales tax on orders shipped to the state.
The Seattle-based company had previously refused to include Pennsylvania's levy on its orders. Amazon reversed itself because of a state directive that takes effect Saturday.
The state revenue secretary says compliance is a good thing for the state's budget.
