Woman's interest in another's boyfriend leads to stabbing in Harrisburg

In a case of jealousy, one woman was stabbed in Harrisburg after confronting another woman and accusing her of having an interest in her boyfriend.

The fight broke out when one woman approached another, accusing her of having an interest in her boyfriend at which time they started fighting and a stabbing occurred.

18-year-old Tatiana Bonilla and her mother, 36-year-old Jackeline Pagan-Morales were arrested Wednesday after assaulting a 25-year-old woman from the Hall Manor area of Harrisburg. Bonilla is being charged with aggravated assault while her mother was charged with simple assault.

The fight happened around 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the corner of Sixth and Radnor Streets in Harrisburg.

The victim pulled out mace, at which time Bonilla called to her mother for help, and after some fighting, the stabbing occurred.

By the time police arrived the fight had been broken up, but they learned that the victim was at Harrisburg Hospital being treated for a cut to her arm.

After hearing witness accounts, police arrested Bonilla and her mother.

Bonilla is currently in Dauphin County Prison in lieu of bail, while her mother has been released on a summons to appear in court.
