Because of a failure in a critical computer system, today's Patriot-News is still not printed.
A key server was finally brought back online this morning. The server controls all communication from the paper's business offices to the production facility, as well as phone and email for the organization.
As of 7 a.m., employees were working to begin production of today’s newspaper, printing is usually completed by 3:00a.m.
The Patriot-News says their goal is to complete all home deliveries by the end of the day today, and to provide copies for sale at local retail outlets.
