Bomb threat forces students to evacuate from local middle school

Around 2 p.m., Eastern York Middle School received a bomb threat at the school.

Following protocol, EMS and police were contacted and students were evacuated to the High School.

Police, firefighters and administrators searched the middle school and the threat was unfounded.

Police will carry out a full investigation into the threat, but no other information is available at this time.
