On September 11, a resident living on Dietz Estates Drive found a strange package near his home.
Police came out to investigate and found a package wrapped in duct tape. One end of the package appeared to have been torn open by an animal.
The package contained 650 individual packets of powder heroin.
The investigation into the incident continues. Anyone with information or who would like to claim ownership of the heroin is asked to call Northern York County Regional Police at 717-292-3647.
