It's been in the Central PA community for more than 32 years and now Kathie's Christmas and Collectibles is closing up shop in Cumberland County.
CBS 21 stopped by the business Thursday in Lower Allen Township, where dozens of people showed up to take advantage of the retirement sale.
Owners Kathie and Bill Hughes have decided to retire effective December 31, 2012.
"I’m going to miss coming in here everyday and feeling like it's the very first day. I’ll also miss the wonderful amazing costumers and they really are,” explained Kathie Hughes. “If we wouldn't have that customer base, we wouldn't have been here for 32 years."
Kathie and Bill plan to enjoy more time with their children and grandchildren.
