Three people were pronounced dead at the scene of a three vehicle crash on 11/15 in Watts Township, Perry County on Saturday.
Pennsylvania State Police in Harrisburg say the crash happened just before 3:00 p.m. Stella Burgard, 69, of Duncannon, was driving a pick up truck northbound when, for unknown reasons, it crossed into the southbound lane. The pick up truck hit a Chevy Cavalier traveling southbound. Immediately after the truck and the Cavalier collided, a third car hit the Cavalier from the rear. Inside the Cavalier were 22-year-old Jessica Bennett and 21-year-old Jasmine Burns, both of Windsor.
Burgard, Bennett and Burns were all pronounced dead at the scene.
Two occupants of the third vehicle were taken to Hershey Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
The crash closed both lanes of 11/15 until 6:30 p.m.
