Just before 4:00 p.m. on Saturday a single vehicle crash in Bethel Township, Lebanon County took two lives.
Delores Sweitzer, 64, of Hamburg and James Zipp, 62, of Lebanon were traveling west on Scenic Route 22 near Scenic Route 343 (Pine Grove Road). Pennsylvania State Police Jonestown say the Ford Explorer they were in went off the road, through a ditch, down a grade, and into a concrete bridge support.
Zipp was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lebanon County Coroner. Sweitzer was taken to Hershey Medical Center by Life Lion, where she was pronounced dead.
