NYDailyNews.com:
A South Jersey prosecutor vowed to hold whoever was responsible for 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale’s death “accountable” Tuesday, but stopped short of calling it murder.
“At this point, we don’t have any person of interest,” Gloucester County Prosecutor Sean Dalton said one day after the girl’s body was found dead in a recycling bin. “There have been no arrests.”
“I wish there was better news we could give you,” he added.
Paul Spadafora, who was Autumn’s under and godfather, thanked the family’s neighbors and friends in Clayton, N.J., for their support.
“We have lost a precious, precious child,” he said. “It’s not the results we wanted, but we have closure.”
