Route 283 West is back open following a fatal crash in Lancaster County.

It happened just after 10:30 last night in the Westbound lanes of Elizabethtown Road in Mount Joy Township.

County dispatchers say a tractor trailer and car collided, resulting in a fire and entrapment.

We know that one person was killed and three others were taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for their injuries.

Our crew at the scene said the tractor trailer was hauling cattle and that they saw the truck driver walking around.

More details are expected later this morning.
