On Friday, November 9th around 5:00am, Willie Dixon, age 50 of Hanover, reported that as he was exiting his vehicle at Glen-Gery Brick Company in the 1000 block of West Boundary Avenue, three males wearing masks and dark clothing, approached him and ordered him to get on the ground.
While on the ground, one of the suspect's struck Dixon on the shoulder with a bat or pipe. A co-worker of Mr. Dixon's, Robert Miles, age 45 of York, was also forced to get on the ground and struck in the head.
One of the suspects also displayed a handgun. After assaulting both individuals, the suspects were last scene fleeing the area in Dixon's vehicle described as: 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix, Pennsylvania registration MRWILL.
The vehicle is gold in color with 20 inch rims.
Both Dixon and Miles were treated and later released from York Hospital for injuries sustained from the assault. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to contact officer George Stone at (717) 843-0851 or through this website.
