PennDOT will inspect the Market Street Bridge in Harrisburg December 3-7.
The bridge runs over the Susquehanna River between Womleysburg Borough and the City of Harrisburg.
PennDOT says there will be lane restrictions for travelers on these days between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Workers are expected to begin on the West Shore side of the bridge and move to the east throughout those days.
The Market Street Bridge averages 12,400 vehicles traveled daily.
Motorists are also encouraged to slow down and pay attention when traveling through work zones, not only for their safety, but for the safety of the inspection crew.
