Carlisle Events and the Miller families have been honored and recognized many times for their work since the company began nearly 40 years ago.

In 2005, Chip Miller, the co-founder was inducted into the National Corvette Hall of Fame in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  Most recently they have been recognized by ARMO for its continued commitment to the collector car hobby.

In 2013, the Miller and the company will be honored, yet again.  This time as two of the ten inductees into the Bloomington Gold "Great Hall."  The Bloomington Gold "Great Hall" annually recognizes ten people or organizations and ten cars that contribute or have contributed to the Corvette and collector car hobby.

Inductions take place each June as part of all-Corvette Bloomington Gold event, which is one of the largest of its type, that his held annually.

The event will be held at the Assembly Hall grounds at the University of Illinois in Champaign. The event is also known as America's Original Corvette show.

The induction of Miller and Carlisle Events will mark the fourth class of a planned five to be welcomed into the Hall.

Miller co-founded Carlisle Events in 1974 with friend Bill Miller, Jr. Though the two weren't related, they not only shared a last name, they shared an amazing passion for all things automotive.

Chip Miller passed away in 2004, and since then his son Lance, Bill Miller Jr. and his son Bill Miller III have continued to promote and produce automotive events.
