On Monday just before 430 p.m., police were called to the ER at Good Samaritan Hospital for the report of a stabbing victim. The 17-year-old man walked into the ER and asked for treatment.
Police spoke to the teen, who had a small puncture wound near his left armpit, which he said he received during a fight. However, the teen would not tell police who stabbed him and stated that he would not testify if the police found the person responsible.
The victim was driven to the hospital by two people, but they left before police arrived. The victim was transferred for further treatment of his injuries.
Police learned that the incident occurred in the 600 block of Lehman Street. A crime scene was roped off for over two and a half hours, but no evidence or witnesses were discovered.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Lebanon City Police Dept or Crime Stoppers.
