The spill had the potential to be pretty serious, but crews on the scene say everyone involved did a great job making sure it didn't.
It happened around 12:30 at Glaxo Smith Klien on 441 outside Marietta. First responders tell CBS-21 news that a generator truck flipped onto its side, spilling around 200 gallons of diesel fuel.
Workers at the property called emergency crews immediately and covered the storm water drains to contain the spill. When the emergency crews got there they contained the spill making sure nothing could ignite the diesel.
“Everything went great. HAZMAT was wonderful. And the crew that came in to mitigate all the issues took over and everything went as smooth as can be.
A private company from Harrisburg came in to remove the diesel after emergency crews contained it.
