On July 13, police were called to the City Gas and Diesel Store, at the corner of North 16th and State Streets in Harrisburg for a car stolen.
A couple had driven there in separate cards when the male went into the store. Another car pulled into the lot and a man got in the victim’s car.
The woman tried to stop him and was dragged a short distance before she fell, suffering minor injuries.
The couple drove after the suspect, trying to call police at the same time. The suspect then stopped the car and when confronted by the couple, were stopped by a large black male with a gun who told them to leave.
The couple met with police shortly after, but when officers arrived to the location where the car was, it was gone.
Carlos Hill, 41 of Harrisburg, was identified as the man who pointed the gun at the couple. The handgun he used was recovered and was stolen in a previous incident.
The investigation into the man who took the car continues and anyone with information is asked to call Harrisburg Police.
