On Thursday, police seized twenty marijuana plants from a corn field near the intersection of Safe Harbor Road and Stehman Church Road in Manor Township.
The department was aware of the plants, but was hoping to catch someone tending to them so they could make an arrest.
The plants ranged in height from three to five feet and if sold would have had a street value of $15,000.
With a large portion of the Township being a rural farming community, there is no doubt that there are more marijuana plants in the area. Corn fields have been used for years to try to hide marijuana.
After seizing these plants, officers went to another location and took five more. Police are still investigating both.
