York shooting suspect turns himself into police

UPDATE: On 9/7/12 Tyree Eatmon of the 500 block. of East Boundary Ave., turned himself in to York City Police to answer to charges of Aggravated Assault, Attempted Homicide and Criminal Conspiracy in the Sept. 2nd shooting that occurred at the Rutters and Five Guys Parking Lot, in York City. Eatmon was taken to Central Booking for processing and arraignment. See attached for other warrants and persons wanted for questioning in this incident as well as the shooting that occurred on Sept. 4th in the 100 block. of Stevens Ave.

York City Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the area of Pennsylvania and Rt. 30 at approximately 3:00am Sunday morning. A physical altercation preceded the shooting that occurred in front of the Five Guys Restaurant, when a female was struck by one of several shots that were fired. At this time police believe the victim was not involved in the altercation. The victim was transported to York Hospital and there is no word on her condition. Police are not releasing the identity of the victim at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact York City Police at 849-2219.
