Harrisburg City Police are investigating an armed robbery at a residence in the 400 block of South 14th Street Thursday.
Officers responded to the home and found an unconscious man on the porch of a residence. The victims who live in a second floor apartment of the home were asked to come outside to identify the suspect, and when they did, they were shocked to find the suspect was a brother of the female resident.
The residents answered the front door around 11:30 Thursday night when two masked men burst through the door. One of the robbers was armed with a gun. They demanded money from the residents, and the armed robber held the victims back while the other one searched through the resident's items.
The male resident grabbed the gun when the robber wasn't looking and a struggle began. One of the robbers was pushed down the stairs, and the other ran out of the apartment.
Quincy Parker was found unconscious on the porch by police and taken to Hershey Medical Center. He was admitted with internal injuries and head trauma. He is being guarded until he recovers to the degree that he can be arraigned on charges.
The investigation continues and anyone with any information on this is asked to contact Det. Ryan Neal at 717-255-7299 or email rneal@cityofhbg.com or Sgt. Thomas Carter at 717-255-6586 or email tccarter@cityofhbg.com.
